THIS IS MY FIRST SHOT AT A POEM, I encourage all criticism.
The sun falls, the moon rises
The clouds disappear, the brain arises
Deep thoughts run through your mind
As darkness falls over us, we lose the light
Our fake smiles fall, our lies of happiness dwindle
Daytime masks come off, loneliness ensues
Society is not our strong suit, merely our last refuge
It’s the loneliness we admire, the overthinking we refuse
Out there somewhere, we all have a light
Where to find it lies the plight
Focus your sights, find your light
Find the one thing that makes it all right
Go out there and find your light.
